I cowashed my face

LanishaLanisha Posts: 467Registered Users
This morning I woke up with a full face of makeup on (because I'm THAT girl that is often to lazy to wash it off before bed) and I didn't feel like finding a facial cleanser or soap to use to wash off my 80 coats of mascara, foundation, etc. So I grabbed some suave coconut conditioner and said "What the hell" AND IT WORKED! cleaned my face and eyey makeup in one go. No wash, rinse and repeat 3 times like i hve to do with regular facial soaps. I guess like really did desolve like! Anyway, try it yall! My face was clean, not greasy, not tight and dry. It was like using an expenseive cream cleanser you'd buy from a high end department store brand. Lol, DON't JUDGE ME!

LMAO! I am trying condish the next time I wear makeup. I will admit that I started oil-sealing my face recently; I wash, use aloe vera gel, and then seal with a few drops of jojoba. My skin prefers this to oil of olay.

Lol My face really was clean! now, mind you, Suave is super thin! I would NOT be doin this with no Nature's Gate or nothin like that

Don't worry, I'll be the guinea pig and tell you guys if I got horrible cystic acne haha

Ok. You may be on to something. If the condish doesn't have a lot of bad ingredients and has a nice consistency - maybe this could be a good way to remove makeup. Let me check my VO5 ...

I should try this, but what's your skin type? Shade 4a or Shade 3c? Also, does your face wet when water touches it??

Anyway, in all seriousness, what Keeny said. Lol! :D
My hair is in the 4s, low in porosity, high in density and coarse. :happy6:

Love: QB - all of it, Bobeam - shampoo bars, Darcy's Botanicals - Pumpkin Seed Conditioner, Coconut Cupuacu Pomade, KBN - Shealoe Leave-in, Oyin - Juices & Berries, Kinky Curly - Knot Today, Ayurvedic treatments, my Denman and the cloud of kinky goodness on my head that I get to play with! :love8:
