Condition ends while shampooing first time CG?

CherylfairyCherylfairy Posts: 20Registered Users
Hi all,

I've been reading for awhile and have learned so much. I'm getting ready to go CG and have questions. I will use a shampoo w/sulphates (just this time) but no silicones to cleanse away the silicones etc. However, should I coat my ends w/conditioner to protect them from damage of sulphates, or will that block the shampoo's ability to strip away the silicones, oils etc.? Thank you!

From what I have read here, you should clarify the entire length of your hair. That's what I do. That way you're sure to remove all product build up and have a good clean start.

Thanks Tammy H for this and your reply about clips for volume.
