Oils for wavies?

What do you wavies use to either SOTC or seal or when you feel you need that little extra moisture after you've styled your hair?

I've noticed my hair felt a bit dry as the day went on yesterday(probably because of the PT). I'm seeing a pattern that the day after a PT it's fine right after I style but as the day goes on it gets dry in my low dews. I had a sample of SS moisture mist spray, it didn't do anything, then I tried my sample of argan oil. Ooooh loved it, got rid of the "crispies" and defined my curls more and didn't weigh it down either.

What does everyone else use?

Oh yeah my hair LOVES oils. I use organic extra virgin coconut oil, camellia japonica oil, argan oil, and a few others, though those are my absolute faves. I also use butters like shea butter but have to be careful on amounts of any of the above that I use. I have a custom mixed oil that is 1/2 camellia japonica, 1/2 argan oil, and has a little lemongrass oil in it too for fragrance that I LOVE. Plus I use Jessicurl's hair softening oil in the unscented version....it's just jojoba oil, avocado oil and coconut oil.

I use mine the same way usually, lightly as an after styling product. Occasionally I'll deep oil with something and sometimes I will pre poo. I've also added coconut oil to a ton of my condishes and low poos. My hair is oil hungry that's for sure!

I sometimes use coconut oil 100%pure organic at night on my ends after I misted my hair, to moisturize. I use olive oil in my All-in-one spray (styler spray) and wheat germ oil in DT. I don't know how to use coconut oil in daytime (as a sealant) without making my hair look greasy shining. Maybe it's because I have blond hair.

I like sweet almond oil or jojoba oil. I emulsify a few drops with my LI in the palms of my hands and scrunch it in before my other stylers. It helps keep the moisture in during low dew points and keeps the moisture out in high dew points.

I have to run up to Sunflower (like a Whole Foods), is there a brand I can pick up there?

Some of these products I can hardly read the ingredients even with my glasses on! Soooo wish they made the print bigger for us that are in the "reading glasses" age. :?

My favorites are EV coconut oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil and apricot kernel oil.

I prefer Nutiva EVCO because it's a little softer (at least the ones I've gotten are) and easier to handle. NOW Foods and Nature's Way brands were really hard.

I've tried NOW Foods and Desert Essence jojoba oil and they seem about the same (except DE was darker) but I've only had the DE for a few weeks.

I've used NOW Foods for the last two and don't have any complaints.

I haven't been to any Sunflower Markets yet, they're wayyy out of my way.

I can't help you out with a brand I'm afraid, I live in the Netherlands. But I always use oils that are pure and organic, no additional stuff in it. I always smell first though in case of the wheat germ oil and olive oil, because the scent can be too much for me sometimes. When used pure I always add some drops of rose oil to the olive oil to improve the smell.

I found that EVOO and coconut oil 50/50 is so amazing in my hair. It's so moisturizing and doesnt leave my hair stringy looking. Also it feels so incredibly soft. I love it!!!
