My personal favorite quote about chocolate cake is, "It's ganache, goddamnit! It's good for you!"

I love this basic chocolate cake recipe. The batter looks thin but it bakes up perfectly. I am a very novice baker but this is easy even for me :)

    Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake.

Top it with the icing (recipe on the linked page too) and it's perfect. Easy too!

We sing this one a lot around here! Most of the time I substitute "brings me" for "feeds me" since Mr. Spring is usually bringing me something because I'm lazy. ;) I've just realized I don't even know where it comes from...

My step-mom makes a great chocolate sheet cake with boiled chocolate frosting. Wish we lived closer to them.

I'm so glad I've got a brownie for dessert tonight.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

It's from a Bill Cosby routine! I know because I had to look it up when I saw TRBL appear to quote my childhood, lol.
    OMG, LOOK!!
