Well, I live in Indiana, so I know how you feel! And, it's also my first cg winter! :)

So I'll be stalking this thread!

My plans so far are to continue as I have been and just keep an eye on what my hair.needs. I know I'll need more moisture, which means more PT's I'm sure! I'm sure I'll be co-washing more, given how tangly I get underneath in the winter. I'll probably up the LI, too, for the same reasons!

And I'm sure I'll diffuse more - not leaving the house with damp hair in an Indiana winter!!! ;)

You'll probably find yourself using more CG-friendly oils. Last winter was my first one CG (I'm in the mid-atlantic). My hair loved GFTN, Lustrasilk cholesterol (olive oil and shea butter are both CG unless the formula changed), straight coconut/argan/olive oils, even gels with oil in them like Ecostyler Argan Oil. Because the air is so dry in winter, you'll mostly want to make sure you deep condition regularly and seal with an oil so that moisture you just added doesn't escape. It's not so bad :)
3a/b 'curly bob' in the mid-Atlantic. Goal: more 3b than 3a. CG Oct 2010.

    Low-poo: Giovanni TTTT, Ion Swim
    Co-wash: V05 Shea Cashmere
Rinse-out: SalonCare Apples & Pears, Tresemme Naturals
Leave-in: Cure Care, Ion Moisturizing Treatment
Stylers: Ecostyler Argan Oil, LALSG, LBLOC, Hold It! Wave Maker, LAL Beachy Waves Spray Gel. Also been using my diffuser more lately.
    PT: Ion Reconstructor
DT: GVP Balm, Pure Elements Intense Repairing Treatment
