Going 100% natural hair product (well...not products)

I've decided to start using only natural things on my hair. Yes, I already do that, but I still used bought shampoos and conditioners on my hair. I've noticed most shampoos and conditioners have sodium chloride in them. No matter, how little, I want to avoid that because it's corrosive. Also, most shampoos and conditioners have chemicals in them that people should avoid or be cautious about and also, they just don't have the natural nutrients or whatever you choose to call them that natural things have.
So, I'm going natural. I have 2.8inches of new/natural growth. I use...well, instead of listing it out, read my signature and you'll see some of the natural things I already use on my hair.
I believe that using natural, God-given things on my hair, it'll help it grow faster, stronger and healthier. I looked into and recently found legit/very good recipes for homemade shampoos and conditioners. So, I'm going to switch over to using those.
If you'd like me to share some of my newly found recipes (and with how each ingredient helps the hair), just ask in your reply to this.

By the way, just a question, is anyone thinking of doing the same thing I'm doing - all natural things on hair (well...should I say, all natural things on natural hair?)
Anyways, can't wait to read what people think about this.

Things I use: Olive Oil, Canola oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, shea butter, mayonnaise, eggs, milk, bananas
Everything I use is 100% natural. I make most of them myself because then I'm sure what's in it and I'm sure nothing's added, it's pure, it's natural.
Things I avoid: Mineral oil (codename: Baby oil), heat (I'm a total, no hair driers, no straighteners, no curling irons, no flat irons, no hot combs...nada), sodium chloride
Growing plan: At least 6 inches longer in a year.
