Using conditioner to style hair

Ladies,
Yesterday after I washed my hair, I uses Oyin's Honey Hemp conditioner as my deep conditioner/leave-in/styler. I used it before I pin curled my hair when it was dry and misted it with water and another liquid leave in This morning my hair was super soft and silky. I know a lot of conditioners are multi-purpose, but have you ever used them to style your hair when it's dry?

I haven't seen Vo5 recently in my drug stores. I usually use those two in 1 conditioners that specify if it's for leaving in your hair and conditioning
