It's interesting to me that so many people report changes in their hair over the years. For me, through almost 50 years and three pregnancies, but no menopause, my hair varies only by season and amount of humidity in the air. Yea, I'm one of those people who never even had to go up a bra size during pregnancy--I was looking forward to having boobs for once in my life, but it didn't happen.
I'm 54 and don't even see the beginnings of perimenopause yet, so I'll have to let you know. : )
But my hair has definitely changed over the years.
Childhood - medium brown, 2b
Teens through 30's - dark brown, 3b-3c, very very thick
40's & 50's - almost black and turning gray, 3a-3b, not nearly as thick
Will have to see what happens next!
