Co Wash

Sorry in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. What exactly is co wash? Is it using a conditioner (such as [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Too-Shea-Extra-Moisturizing-Conditioner-p-105.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-too-shea-extra-moisturizing-conditioner]Too Shea[/buylink]) each time you get your hair wet w/out using any type of shampoo?

A co-wash is when you use conditioner to "wash" your scalp, rather than shampoo.

What you're describing is "conditioning", which is usually done after a co-wash.

A sincere and grateful THANK YOU for the QUICK response. But I'm still confused. :(

    No problem :)

What are you confused about? Let me try to explain a little more:

Co-wash: The goal is to cleanse the scalp. You scrub your scalp with conditioner, then rinse well.

Condition: The goal is to moisturize and detangle the hair. You distribute conditioner through your hair, detangle with fingers/comb/brush, then rinse or leave some/all in.

I guess what I do is condition, then. But, come to think of it, even when I use regular-ole shampoo, I don't really scrub too hard. I'm too afraid of tangles! I've been reading these boards for almost a year now and have just very recently converted to Jessicurl. My only problem is that I want my products RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND. After a year, you'd think I could be more patient.....
