Ion effective care from Sally's is great. It's a bit more than $5 for a regular sized bottle, I think about $9. But they do have sample packs for around a $1 if you want to try it out and see if you want to spend the extra $. :)

Protein treatment (heavy protein and keratin): Generic K-Pak (Sally's)
Heavy CO, protein rich: Renpure Amazing Miracle (Ulta)
An everyday, lighter CO with a few proteins: Garnier Triple Nutrition (easy to find)

PS Every product in my signature has proteins if you're looking for shampoo, CO, leave in, curl activators, sprays, etc :P
    Low/Med porosity, very fine, low/med elasticity & density, 3A

Mane N Tail conditioner is good for a super light protein treatment for wash days. Its usually in the hair asile, but it might be in the pet section.. O_o

Anything that ends with "amino acids" or "protein"

For example, wheat amino acids, hydrolyzed oat protein...

I second the Salon Care conditioners... I love the Apples & Pears one.

Ion Effective Care is also very nice.

I have a bottle of this at home but I haven't tried it yet: Cure Care - Cure Care Hair and Skin Conditioner 20 oz $3 for a big 20oz bottle, or the GIGANTIC 128oz bottle is on sale for $6. I'd guess you'd want to try it first before you buy that much all at once, though :)

I will check the ingredients on my bottle tonight when I get home, but Google claims that they are: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Polymethoxy Bicyclic Oxazolidine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Citric Acid.

Rinse-out: SalonCare Apples & Pears, Tresemme Naturals
Leave-in: Cure Care, Ion Moisturizing Treatment
Stylers: Ecostyler Argan Oil, LALSG, LBLOC, Hold It! Wave Maker, LAL Beachy Waves Spray Gel. Also been using my diffuser more lately.
    PT: Ion Reconstructor
DT: GVP Balm, Pure Elements Intense Repairing Treatment
