Protein treatment question

I did my first protein treatment 2 weeks ago with coconut milk, and liked the results. Just not too crazy about the dripping. So my question is can I use suave coconut condish for a protein treatment? If so would I need to follow with a dt?
2c w/ some 3a on the ends
Length - just below shoulders when wavy
texture - under layer fine, everything else medium
According to the articles of how to determen these:
Porosity- low
Density - medium

shampoo - clear scalp & hair therapy
rinse out - clear scalp & hair therapy
leave in - whatever rinse out I'm using at the time
gel - kccc
dt - aussie 3 min miracle

experimenting and open to suggestions!

Suave Coconut Conditioner could be used but it doesn't have a lot of protein in it. Many use it to co-wash with because it has just enough protein to give fine hair some support.

You could buy some protein filler and add to any conditioner to make a protein treatment.

To help with the drips, use a shower cap. The heat also helps your hair absorb more.

Adding Colorful Neutral Protein Filler (CNPF) to your conditioner is a great idea! It can be found at Sally's or online.
You can also try dissolving a pinch of unflavored gelatin in a little boiling water and mix that with a generous amount of conditioner and use it as you would usually use conditioner.

Oh, ok. The protein filler sounds neat. I will defiantly look for that. Thanks and I will try it with the cap. I use heat when I do a dt but I never thought about it when doing a pt. Thanks for answering!

CNPF is next on my list to get! Unflavored gelatin? That sounds interesting! Like at the grocery store? A specific brand or any?
