What do I need to do now??

WaveyGirlWaveyGirl Posts: 36Registered Users
I'm a lil over 3 weeks into the CG Method. After I CO Wash I LOVE the way my hair feels, but as the day goes on my hair progressively gets DRYER and frizzier. One of the girls suggested that I might be protein sensitive....I took a good look at my products and sure enough 4 out of the 5 products I used DID have protein in them. I know that I now need to try going protein free...which is not a problem cause I already have protein free products on hand, but do I need to do a baking soda wash to remove the protein or just continue with my next CO Wash without using any protein products and see what happens?? Thanks

Do your products also have glycerin in them? Some people are sensitive to that as well.

Suave made my scalp itchy and dry. I didn't find the GFTN to be moisturizing at all! So maybe look at heavier, protein free conditioners to use as rinse outs.
