homemade co-wash?

Hard time looking this up. I'm doing CG btw.
Say I want to go totally natural in the future- coconut oil as a leave in and fsg as gel for example. What would make a natural co wash? Not natural as in the brand is natural, natural as in not a commercial conditioner.

Aloe Vera gel is an awesome, moisturizing hair wash. There is a whole thread about it on the 2's board. It's almost better than a CO-wash. It's very moisturizing, but it cleans well and isn't gunky or too heavy. Also, if you go on Soapcrafters.com, they sell all-natural conditioner flakes. I don't know if that's something that you would be interested in, but all you have to do is blend them up with some water. They are very natural and have few ingredients. HTH!

Thanks. Too bad it costs more than cheap commercial products with more chemicals. Maybe I'll grow some lol

Ha ha! I know, it is more expensive, but it's worth it. The conditioner flakes are actually very cheap in the long run because one pound of it ($15) makes about 25 pounds of conditioner! So, that's a pretty good deal. Lemme know how everything works out for you if you wind up getting it.
