How long?

How often do you wavies get your hair cut/trimmed? I've read that curlies can go quite some time without cutting their hair but I wasn't sure about wavies. My whole life I've usually gone no more than 2 months (sometimes 5-6 weeks) but I'm wondering if I can go longer. Thanks!!

at 10 weeks I find the shape has grown out and it just doesn't cooperate very well. I think 8 weeks is a good amount of time - its not yet driving me nuts, but its not a 'fresh' cut either.

I usually go about 3/4 months before I start feeling gross. But then again that was back when I blow dried and flat ironed my hair, now that I'm CG I wonder how I'll feel in about 4 months 0.0

Thanks gals! I'm going to try and hold off until mid-September (next month already, eek!) mostly cause I don't have any money lol. But also I think I might let it grow out some. Hopefully my hair won't drive me too crazy (cause it always does a little!) and I won't be tempted to shave it all of!!!!!!!!

I go twice a year for haircuts. More often would bankrupt me, LOL. This means my hair gets long, but usually it still looks good; when it starts bothering me I go get it cut.

I get it CUT not trimmed though, lately like to have her cut it to shoulder length then it grows to BSL then it's time for a haircut...

I can go 6 months or more as long as I trim every 6 to 8 weeks, and that I do myself.

mine hasn't been cut since probably January! I got it cut short then, so it's growing out. when it's long I get it cut about once a month.

I turned mod CG about 2 months ago and got a (my first) "curly" haircut a month ago. So I am not sure yet how long I can go without a haircut before my hair will get awkward. Before CG I cut my hair every 6 months and did it myself.

Usually just whenever my hair gets extra tangly...lately a bit more since I'm growing out damage and such. My hair is nearly waist length curly and a few inches past when wet...on average I would say I trim it every 4 months
Mixture of 2c/3a curls, fine to med texture

Wishing my hair would be more like this
