Anyone use agave for deep conditioning?

I decided not to make any more FSG, and I'm left with 12 oz of agave. Can it be used like honey to add to condition to make a deep treatment?

I use it instead of honey for my deep conditioning treatments. It has humectants properties like honey but it not as messy nor does it lighten my hair over time as honey tends to do.

Do you use it alone or do you add it to a conditioner?

I either use it and oil (grapeseed, olive, whatever) as a pre-poo or I add the above to a cheapie condish I am trying to get rid of. Honestly, I prefer the latter.

Thanks! I tried it with V05 s&c and LOVED it. So I'll try it with another conditioner and some oils as a prepoo again.

I also just tried it with olive oil as a prepoo. I wore a plastic cap for a few hours. When I washed it out, I didn't have as much slip as I would like, but oh my gosh the SHINE! I will be doing this until I use it up, and then I will try olive oil with honey.
