Protein Add-ins?

Hi girls. My current products just aren't doing enough for me protein-wise, but I've been hesitant to go out and buy a new crop of them (poor college student and all... :money:). So, I was wondering, are there any ingredients that can be added to my existing products to bump up their protein content? Also, are there any good, drug-store CG protein treatments or protein-heavy conditioners?

I have a post on my blog about protein! But for add-ins that aren't expensive you can't beat (at Sally's) the CNPF (Colorful Neutral Protein Filler) it's keratin and wheat protein, so it coats and penetrates. That makes it sound like Pepto Bismol, doesn't it? 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per use should do.

You can buy a box of unflavored gelatin (Knox) and dissolve a teaspoon or a half-teaspoon in a little boiling water and use it in your rinse out conditioner (just don't add it to the bottle or it might go bad).

Sally's has Ion Effective Care PT in single-serving packets for around a dollar. They also have Ecostyler Protein - a protein-enriched gel.

IAgirl, I tried your PT twice the past few days and it's awesome! My hair is shiny and the frizz has been reduced by at least 50%. That's how I finally figured out that my hair need was craving protein. I love my hair Jello!

Iagirl- we dont have that neutral protein filler at our sallys here in canada... Another other protein add ins to a conditioner or leave in spray you can think of?
