I would love to add coconut oil to my hair regimen, but which brand is the best one to get (on the ground)?

When I tried coconut oil, I just went to my health food store and asked for it. As long as it is 100% coconut oil, it should be good.

I have both the refined deodorized kind and the unrefined kind. They both work fine, but the unrefined seems to work just a little better.

So far I've added a dab of coconut oil with my moisturizer (Hair Dew) and it's seems to give it a boost.

Yesterday was a wash day and in an effort to get rid of my Ecostyler, I mixed it with coconut oil, Hair Dew, and Shine & Define to prevent that crunchy feeling from happening, while still maintaining some hold.

I won't know the real results until I take the twists out, but so far they don't feel hard or too greasy.

What is the best wat to apply coconut oil? As it comes in a solid form, do you heat it to make it liquid and massage it in your hair?

It melts at your body temp. To oil my scalp I just take some out and liquefy in my hand, or I take a hot spoon and scoop out for deep treatments.

I rub it in my hands for a bit and apply it.

God! I love coconut oil, it's the best product for hair in the world :thumbright: I use it on few hour or minutes before washing hair and curls looks amazing! and applying is simple, when jar with oil is not in fridge, but it quickly melts in your hands, by the way it's good for dry skin ;)

I recently used my coconut oil, along with Ecostyler, to stretch my Oyin Shine and Define. Now I can use the S & D at least two more times.
