I need product recommendations

This is the stuff I use on my DD's hair.
All this stuff was bought at Walmart so it isn't salon quality:
Wild harvest hair silk curls (yuzu) curl serum. It is sulfate free, paraben free, phthalate free, sodium free.
Then I will spray some Frizz-Ease Dream Curls on it. And then a little mousse.

Right now to wash it I am using Suave for kids coconut shampoo and strawberry conditioner.

Some days her hair is droopy. She has really silky fine hair. She is 2.5, so it is still growing in and thickening. I don't think I need to do the CG method b/c her hair isn't dry.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good shampoo and conditioner to use that would make her hair more curly? I still use the tear free kind but I guess I could try something more adult??

hi Mama! i answered your other intro post....by looking at your products had me thinking....check your styling products for silicones (many frizz ease products have them)....there's several lists of the different names of them on here (you may want to check the general FAQ board for them). i just started doing CG for my DD....who has very baby fine hair too. I know her hair doesn't look dry...neither did my DD, but its doing well off the silicone products (i was using J&J detangler...which is very high in cones)....If you are using them you need to wash her hair with REGULAR baby shampoo to get the cones out....then you can start cowashing....or low pooing as you see fit. The difference with kids is.....make sure products fit the hair texture and that they are mild enough, then make sure you stick with no cones and no sulfates. My DD is 3 days into CG (as am I), and I will post before and afters when its been a couple of weeks :occasion7: If you have been using cone products...the hair won't look dry....but it will usually take to cowashing beautifully! my DD hair is way more manageble now (3 days out!)
mostly 3a, texture: fine/normal porosity: normal at roots, more porous at ends due to heat styling and coloring

color treated, living in southeast...w/ high humidity...dew points 70+

new to CG; trying out tresemme naturals conditioner, GVP conditioning balm, and HETT gel, twice a month Deva No-Poo.

What exactly are cones? I do have some J&J detangler. But since I started using separate shampoo & conditioner and not the aveeno head to toe stuff her hair hasn't been crazy tangled like it was before so I haven't used the J&J detangler. This a.m. when DH washed her hair I told him to leave a little conditioner in and her hair hasn't looked that great today. So, I dunno if CG would work.

Kinky curly products can be found at target. Like I said in your othe thread, it looks like our girls are hair twins. I use kinky curly knot today as a leave in and the the curling custard as a styler.

Blame it on the cell phone...
