The braids could be working against your effort if they are pulling or too tight. Often hair loss is caused by and/or worsened by mechanical manipulation such as pulling , tugging, rubbing that is caused by headband worn too tight or too often, combing, brushing, other hair accessories, constantly slicking the edges back, etc If you must wear the braids, make sure they are not too tight and you are able to massage that area with a stimulator such as Rosemary oil. Alot of patience is needed as from what I see from others with this problem, it's a long process.
