Ombre hair?

I have an appointment to get my hair colored on Saturday, and am trying to decide how I should color my hair. I found the ombre method and loveee it, but don't know if it would go well with my curly hair. (I'm 3a) What do you guys think?

If you don't know what the Ombre method is here's a link:

And here's my type of curls:

So I am actually going to get my hair done next week and was thinking about doing ombre as well but I am also quite skeptical. My curls are very similar to yours and I was wondering if you could post a picture of the finished product and let me know how you like it! Thanks!

LOL...I have to share this because I was literally "afraid" to click on this topic! Why? Because I thought this kind of color was called, "Girl, you need to keep up with those roots!" And, since I stopped having my hair professionally highlighted almost 2 years ago, the bottom 12" of my hair is light, and the top 16 - 18" is mostly dark, so it looks very similar to the images posted in the OP's link. I've been walking around thinking that everyone is probably talking about how sloppy I am with my hair color, when in "reality," I'm a fashion-forward trendsetter because I was doing it before it even was an "it." LOL. I was apprehensive about clicking on this thread because I figured it was just a thread ridiculing or criticizing those of us with unintentional "ombre" hair. Imagine my surprise! I actually feel good because I'd been looking at my hair and kind of liking the look. I thought that meant I had really bad taste...which I still might, but who cares! I'd also been seeing some celebrities here and there with their hair like this, and I was thinking to myself, "Wow, I know why *my* hair looks like that, but why would *she* let her roots go that long?" Now I know. For the record, I don't think it's flattering unless your hair has a fair amount of curl and volume; otherwise, it just looks stringy, greasy, and neglected, IMHO.

And, bri, you definitely have enough curl to pull it off! Hope you love it!
OK, I admit it.....I'm an alias! I wasn't born with the name Honeycurls!
:lurk: Dood, get over it; there's no time limit on lurking.

I so busy runnin' allllllll over the place and ain't nobody chasin' me! :confused5::laughing5::jocolor:
