That's a hard one. I've trie a couple products that I love, but I don't recall any of them being simply fantastic. I do love my Shea moisture purification masque for deep conditioning, coconut oil and unrefined Shea butter, enso naturals root twist pudding and honey hibiscus leave in. I also like to use a cone or 2 from time to time like HE totally twisted condish, help control frizz in the summer when it's insanely humid. Oh yea and Eco styler gel (pink) hold of 7, 100% aloe Vera gel

I like homemade FSG a lot -- not by itself, but layered with other stuff. It's awesome! I also like LOOB. I've just been using that and FSG lately, and I'm loving my hair! :) Aussie Instant Freeze was also the best hard-hold, all in one product I ever bought.
Type 2c/3a with lots of hair and a super sensitive scalp! Med/slightly coarse texture, low porosity and elasticity.

    Favorite...
Low poo: Organix TTM, Essential Wholesale Free & Clean
    RO/LI: TN, GFTN, YTC
Stylers: EcoStylers, GF Curl Shaping Gel, Aussie Aussome Volume Mousse & Instant Freeze Gel, GFPC, LALNC, La Bella Lots of Curls, Apricot Oil, KMFUM, AO B5DG
Extras: sugar scrubs, AVG washes, pre-poos with EVCO, oiling scalp before washes, plopping, gelatin PT.

LA Looks Sport Gel ($2.50 for 30 oz bottle) and Suave Coconut Conditioner ($1.00 for the large size bottle). They are my favorite hair products. And I also use the conditioner to shave my legs.

Do you mind if I ask what your FSG recipe is? I just made some but it doesn't seem to work as good as AOMM for me.

Do you mind if I ask what your FSG recipe is? I just made some but it doesn't seem to work as good as AOMM for me.

mine is really simple! its two cups of water, and 4 tblspoons of flax seeds.

boil water, add flax seeds, bring down heat a little, keep stirring. If it boils again, turn it down but still keep it hot. Keep it cooking until the seeds are floating and there is some white foamish stuff on the top. This usually takes 15 minutes, but dont take it out too early.

Did that make sense? I can clarify if you have questions
