hair spray question

the hair in the front is constantly falling into my face...I usually tuck it behind my ears (which ends up making those pieces straight...ugh). Now that I got some of the length taken off Im wondering if I might be able to put some hairspray on to hold it into place and not falling in my face

my questions are: if Im following cg, will co washing get out the hairspray? any recommended products?
thanks

There are a couple of problems with hairspray. One is that they usually contain drying alcohols, and if they are aerosols, also drying propellants. And yes, the resins that provide hold can be hard to get out without shampooing.

I would suggest trying a spray gel (like Herbal Essences Set Me Up) or a non-aerosol hairspray if that doesn't give enough hold.

Aussie Sprunch Spray is really good!
    I'm a 3b, with 3c underneath.

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

I find the Aussie Sprunch Spray smells sooo strong... i don't really like the smell. And it makes my hair sticky! I only use it if I'm out of other hairspray... hehe.

It's too bad, but I avoid Aussie products just because I dislike that strong grape candy smell. Geez, they've had that fragrance for at least 20 years, isn't it time for an update!

well i use it on wet hair after i take my hair down from turban, and it seems to lose stickiness but hold the curls better.

The last bottle of sprunch spray that I bought was unscented... it actually said it on the bottle. Of course it's not totally unscented (it smells kind of like a sweet pear-ish smell; it like it) and it's MUCH better than that nasty grape smell. I think I bought it at Meijer.

    HI,

I use the Suave maximum hold (#10) aerosol spray all over my hair every time I restyle it. It always washes out w/ my Jessicurl stuff.
