Big chop!

Hi everyone my name is Avyanna I'm 17 yrs okd and I decided that I will big chop sometime this week coming up. I've been transitioning for 4 months and have lots of new growth!! I'm very excited and I can't wait to start my natural hair journey!! If possible can you ladies just give me tips as to anything new I should do once fully natural please and thank you!!

    Congrats on your decision.

    My main tip is moisture and water are your hair's friend. There's a lot of info on this site on moisture hope u find it useful. Enjoy the ride

    Tons of whirls and curls and coils on my head. My hair's sometimes my best friend and other times we're at odds. But either way it's curls to the end. No need for a relaxer cause there's no reason to stress, my tresses are at their best

    I agree with making sure your hair is moisturized, but also properly detangled, deep conditioned, and make sure you're drinking enough water too.

    If you wash your hair everyday is ok, but with KCCC you might not need to, for me all I do is spritz some water and that revives the product HTH
