Newbie trimming curls..HELP!

SassyTwo3SassyTwo3 Posts: 2Registered Users
So I'm new to CG and healthy hair care (better late than never, right!), and I've decide to go natural for..as long as I can! I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on if it is better to trim my own ends (with the proper scissors of course) before or after a wash & deep conditioning. Also do I trim wet or dry, I've heard wet trimming is not good for curly hair...
I'm thinking wash, dry on cool, trim, dc, then style?

What's best?
(Oops I accidentally posted this question in the 3a forum earlier...)

You mean trim as in getting rid of split ends? If so I do it when hair is dry and styled. I sit in a bright light (and wear dark clothes for good background) bend my head down, flip my hair over my face, and snip off all the split ends I'm seeing. Sometimes I cut off not just individual ends but tips of each curl if it looks frazzled/fuzzy.
