DevaSun/Devafuser Users

It's been a while since I've been on NC as work's been super-busy, but I wanted to check back in with all the DevaSun/[buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-DevaFuser-Kit-p-913.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devafuser]Devafuser[/buylink] users and see how they're liking them after having some more time with them.

My biggest question is, does it really speed up drying time? How much? This is the single most important factor to me in deciding whether to get one.

Also talk to me of frizz reduction and any other factors you feel make this different or not-so-different from other dryers/diffusers.

Lastly, does anyone know if Devachan accepts returns of the DevaSun/[buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-DevaFuser-Kit-p-913.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devafuser]Devafuser[/buylink] like they do with 12oz bottles of products, if I'm dissatisfied with it?

TIA for any replies :)

Devachan told me that you could return the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-DevaFuser-Kit-p-913.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devafuser]devafuser[/buylink] within 30 days if you are not satisfied. Curlmart told me that they cannot take returns of the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-DevaFuser-Kit-p-913.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devafuser]Devafuser[/buylink]. I don't know about other vendors.

The Devachan person also told me that it dries your hair totally in 12 minutes.

There are a couple of threads around here with posts from people who own them.

    Thanks st. louis blue!

That's awesome, was this good for website purchases or only at the salon?

Pixiecurl, I don't know whether this is just for web purchases. I called the salon to inquire, and that's what I was told.

I would be ordering it on the web if I get it, so maybe I can call first to verify that I'll be able to return it if I don't like it. Thanks :)

Tell me about it! I wonder how long it takes to get hair MOSTLY dry, so that it may be damp in the middle or underneath but it looks dry enough to go out in public.

I may call some of the Devachan-curl-care-consultants in my area to see if anyone has one, and maybe if I can go in for a "wash" and style to try it and see if I like it.

Ohhh, good idea! I was actually hoping to get a DCC to cut my hair while I'm here, but not sure if I can get a time booked. If I do, I'll be sure to ask about the dryer.

They need to come out with the home version of this that's cheaper because I'm dying to have one. It must dry faster with the air coming out in all directions. The only thing is it won't help scrunch hair up and pixiecurl method with this one but less heat so less damage and less frizz, now t hat would be nice.
    2c/3a?

Unless I'm doing something completey wrong, it does not totally dry the hair in 12 minutes. Then again, I have a lot of hair. It does speed up dry time & there is less frizz.

Ana told me that, no, it does not dry your hair quicker (certainly not in 12 minutes!) but that it dries it more gently and frizz free. I'd love to know who answered the phone and gave that 12 minute reply!!

It actually wasn't the person on the phone who told me 12 minutes. After calling and finding out about the return policy, I went into the salon to look at it. I ended up not getting it, but it was the lady at the front desk who said the thing about the 12 minutes. I don't know who she was (but she did have very gorgeous hair).

Anyway, she could've just meant for me; my hair is not all that long, it hangs down to about mid-neck at its longest.

Drying my hair gently and frizz-free sounds great, but if it won't speed up drying time I'm not going to waste my $$

Back to the drawing board... Thanks for all the replies :)

That makes sense. With my length (going for Ana's length) everything takes forever to dry my hair!
    I still love mine tho'.
