Is BB Castile Suds okay for color-treated hair?

Does anyone know if castile soap is okay for color-treated hair? I ordered a bottle from Botticelli Botanicals on Etsy and never gave it thought that it might not be safe for color-treated hair. Any help? I guess if it's not I'll use it as a body wash. Thanks.
Armpit length (dry), middle of back wet, 2c/3a, fine, porous, color-over-gray, normal elasticity. Trying so hard to grow it out.
CG since June 2011 and loving it so far.
Product Junkie-love anything CJ. Used to love KT and KCCC, but lately doing nothing for my hair but flattening it.
Am experimenting with products to see what works for me. Seems like I get different results every day even if I use the same products!

This is ONLY a guess but I'm thinking that if a shampoo is sulfate-free, it would be safe for color-treated hair. Because aren't sulfates very stripping to hair?? Hopefully, someone else will chime in!!!

I'm thinking it would be ok too!!!!! Castile is used to make baby soap and for people with sensitive skin so I'm guessing it would be very gentle.

I used it a few times but gave it away. I found it extremely stripping and drying!

I'm with Asianrunner -- I use Castile Soap all the time to wash my hair, and it's very drying. I rub some aloe on my scalp all the time after I wash with this because my scalp starts to itch and flake because it is so dry. This is a temporary fix for my scalp, but that won't help your color situation! I'm assuming because it is drying it will not be the greatest for your color, but I cannot tell you firsthand, since I don't color my hair. I'm thinking that heavily diluting it or only using a little of it to wash mainly your scalp and not your hair with should be okay, but I don't know if the BB's soap is already diluted or what. I guess you'll never know if you don't try. Hopefully someone who has colored hair and uses BB's Castile Soap will chime in!
Type 2c/3a with lots of hair and a super sensitive scalp! Med/slightly coarse texture, low porosity and elasticity.
