Cleaning company name ideas

curlylauracurlylaura Posts: 8,352Registered Users
My mum is joining a franchise of cleaning companies and has asked me to come up with company name ideas for her. I suck at this sort of thing so thought I'd ask here and you're all so good at it. I think it'll be mainly domestic cleaning.

If you were starting up a cleaning company what would you call it?

Start it with the letter A, so that you're close to the beginning of the listings in the phone book...people do still use phone books to find businesses.

Can't beat Ninja, but I'll add a few. Among hers I particularly like:

My favorite is Clean R Right - I'd go with that one. Runner-up: Courtesy Cleaners

    Here's a few others:

Come Clean - although this might give the wrong impression

    Clean n' Tidy

    We do Windows

    A-1 Cleaners
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....

Naming should follow 2 important rules, so to speak.

You do not want a name so "clever" that people have to guess what you do or that people have to say, "oh, she cleans homes" after saying the business name.

A name should clearly communicate the product or service AND how it meets a consumer need.
People need to know what you do and how it helps them (why they care, want to participate, give you money).
If the franchise name will be part of her name, that part could be done already and then the naming becomes simple. (i.e., Anna's Merry Maid Service)

So something about cleaning and then something that indicates to the consumer that you do it for them, one less task for them.

The consumer benefit can also be a tag line which can be part of the name.

    So something like:
    Clean 'N Tidy
Come home to your beautifully cleaned home

    ~or~

    Clean 'N Tidy
We clean your home while you are doing more important things!

    You get the idea!

(Sorry-advertising and marketing is what I have done for the last 25 years, so I could not help myself-haha!)
