would a 'cone-free, sulfate-free detangling shampoo help?

First, I wanted to thank all of the great folks who have helped me on this board. My hair bewilders me sometimes!

I am trying to figure out which products and routine my hair needs to look curl-defined (nothing new on this board, I know). I've got the microfiber towel, the Set Me Up gel, and my order of AG:Recoil is on the way.

I feel I must wash my hair everyday because I use styling products plus my hair tangles horrifically each night. When I do wash my hair, I need a shampoo that has some slip in it without weighing it down because I seem to have all the tangle of curly hair without the definition benefits.

Do you wavy girls find that sulfates and 'cones are bad for your hair, or do the natural oils in the natural-type shampoos seem even worse (in terms of weighing your hair down - I had this experience for Nature's Gate Hemp Shampoo)? I have been Googling and have seen Creme of Nature highly praised due to its sulfate-free status, yet there are 'cones in it - has anyone had any experiences with it, or any other similar shampoos that I could use?

The 'cones in Creme of Nature Detangling shampoo are: Methylchloroisothiazolinone , Methylisothiazolinone , Methylisothiazolinone

The rest of the ingredients are:
Water Aqua , Trideceth-7 Carboxylic Acid , Decyl Polyglycoside , Glycol Stearate , Polyquaternium-10 , Aloe Barbadensis Extract Aloe Barbadensis , Hydrolyzed Milk Protein , Honey Mel , Lemon Extract Citrus Limonum , Wheat Germ Oil Triticum Vulgare , Balsam Canada Abies Balsamea , Pectin , Lecithin , Fennel Extract Foeniculum Vulgare , Buchu Extract Baroma Betulina , Myrrh Extract Commiphora Myrrha , Marjoram Extract Origanum Majorana , Orris Extract Iris Florentina , Sodium Hydroxide , Fragrance Parfum , Disodium EDTA , Methylparaben , Propylparaben , Quaternium-15

Big thank to everyone!
