L-Methionine Deficiency can cause dry brittle hair

I came across info that lack of the nutrient Methionine can cause dry brittle hair and nails. Researching it I found that the foods that are high in Methionine are things that I would eat on and off. I was already taking Biotin at the advice of my dermatologist, and now I'm testing taking B-6 and eating more foods rich in Methionine for stronger hair; here is some info from the web, fyi:

High levels of methionine can be found in sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, fish, meats and some other plant seeds; methionine is also found in cereal grains. Most fruits and vegetables contain very little of it. Most legumes are also low in methionine. The complement of cereal (methionine) and legumes (lysine), providing a complete protein,[9] is a classic combination, found throughout the world, such as in rice and beans or tortilla and beans.
