Is it possible to transition from heat damaged from too much flat ironing hair without cutting all my hair off up to my 2 inches of new growth?
My hair is armpit length,3B normal porosity, just became CG a week ago and I'm due for a cut to really get start fresh. Just need some advice, thanks!

Yea it's very possible to transition. I had my hair chemically treated and transitioned for over a year. During that time I would cut my hair 1-2pm at a time until my new grow was at a comfortable length. Then I did a mini bc in February where I cut the last 3-4in of my damaged hair off. But you can transition for as long as you want just make sure your removing your damaged hair during that time to cut down on split ends.

Really ok that helps alot. I scheduled a hair appt and I'm gonna cut around 4 inches just around shoulder length. That will help get rid of the straight scraggly dead ends. I'm thinking of adding layers I fear the pyramid look if it's all one length and that short.
