no poo @ the beach

I was wondering -- I am planning a vacation to OBX in July, and will the co-wash method be sufficient for post-ocean frolicking? I am afraid that not using a sulfate shampoo will result in a semi-permanently sandy head. Anyone had experience with this?

When I'm "frolicking" at the beach, I rinse my hair thoroughly first--longer than usual--10-15 minutes. This does help get rid of most of the sand. I then cowash or lowpoo twice.

I've used this method for years, and it has helped me to be sand-free for years.
