My hair lightens in the sun, any tips to stop it?

I've been keeping my hair a fairly dark brown the last few months, but it just keeps lightening up a lot (i've always had hair that lightens in the sun)
I was wondering if anyone had tips to keep it from lightening up so much, products or anything? (i can't really do too much more to avoid the sun, since that florida sunshine is neverending this time of year, and it's too hot for hats)
