Avocado- who likes it?

Recently I whipped up a new homemade DT, and for the first time I used ripe avocado that everyone has been raving about. To tell you the truth... I don't think it's really doing anything for my hair. I haven't found that my hair feels any softer or more moisturized after I use it. I do find that after the DT my hair is VERY shiny... but I need more performance than that. Maybe its the combination of ingredients I used? I don't know. Today is my DT day and I am skipping the homemade avocado DT and using a store-bought one, spruced up with some oils.

Does anyone else use avocado? What do you think of it?

What I threw together (in case its my recipe that's causing the problems):
Ripe Avocado, Banana, Coconut milk. Blended well in the food processor and let fall through a wire strainer.

Any thoughts or advice? Thanks for listening, Curlies :):)

The first time I used the homemade avocado mask, I mixed it with hempseed oil. It was wonderful! However, I thought, "if want to truly see what an avocado does for me, I should use only avocado". When I did that, my hair was stronger and a bit shiner. I used a DT afterward because it feels almost like a PT.
