Hi there my curly girls,

I have a quick question for all of you again.

I'm not trying to be gross, but does anyone else get a lot of hair loss when in the shower? When detangling my hair today, I only detangle in the shower with a wide comb and conditioner, I had a clump of hair the size of a half-dollar. I wondered if it was just "shedding" or if it means I need to deep condition more or something along those lines.

Oh! and to my fine haired girls, matrix curl life contouring milk is a nice product. I've been using it for about a week now, and it definitely brings about more curls, especially 2nd day hair when wetting and scrunching. :glasses7:
right now a 2c/3a mix. waiting to see if it'll get curlier

low porosity, fine texture, fine density right now: (hair cutter thinned the heck out of it before i knew it was a no-no :cwm10: )

low poo: organix cherry blossom ginseng
Cowash: suave naturals pomegranate splash

using pantene pomade until i can get to the store, i want to try Shea Moisture: Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Hold Smoothie & Shea Moisture: Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist:love5:

I definitely shed a lot in the shower, especially when I comb my hair out. I am not worried about it because I have read over and over that its normal to loose about 100 strands per day.

I shed a lot, my family does too. We still have a lot of hair so I think it's fine. But sometimes I look at all the hair and it's just like wow. I guess that's normal for some of us.

How much shed hairs I have depends on how long i go without detangling ..
I usually go four days, and ill have about a quarter sized amount of hair loss sometimes more
shedding doesnt bother me, its unusual amounts or breakage that you need to be concerned about.
Pay attention the next cpl of times you detangle, if the amount is the same youre okay.. but if your experiencing an unusual amount for you then thats when you probably have a problem. But it sounds like you are fine!

oh gawd i kno! my hair is a little past my shoulders when its wet, so i hafta really stretch my arms back to detangle it (even tho i could just bring it to the front) but every once in a while, i shed So much hair, that i hafta reach down and get the hairball out of our strainer that we put in our drain. otherwise the water just wont go down! kinda gross but its gotta be done
