Drug store conditioner question

Hi,

I have short (almost shoulder length) 3b hair, and have just started the CG routine. I know that i cannot use any products or conditioners with 'cones, and i don't know if my hair reacts to proteins or not. Can anyone suggest a good, moisturizing conditioner (leave in or rise out) that i can get from a drugstore like shoppers drug mart. Thank you!

Zoe

If you are just looking for something to use as a conditioner wash ("co-wash" in cg terms!), then any of the suave naturals or VO5 conditioners are great for that. I personally prefer the VO5. As long as there are no cones in them. For more of a leave-in, I am going to see if anyone else can recommend. I have been using Trader Joe's conditioner - it is great & only $2.49 for 16 ounces!! I use it as a leave-in.

VO5 conditioners are a great buy! Champagne Kiss is my favorite right now. I also like the Suave Citrus Smoothie conditioner. If your hair is really dry, you might try Activate Hydrating Conditioner (sold at some Rite Aids and at Ulta). It is very moisturizing!

I like the VO5 conditoners as co-wash and light leave ins but my favorite leave in right now is the Curl Junkie Give Em the Slip conditioner.

    Happy New Year...
3A, fine but thick, low porosity, low to medium resilience, protein sensitive but not to silk

Favorites: Anything from Curly Kinks...their system is my new holy grail. Still liking Juice Organics Orange and TJ Refresh Conditioners as all purpose co-wash and rinse outs.

Herbal Essence's Break's Over. I have been using this for five months. Love it.
