Heat damage

I blow dry and trim my hair once a month...on occasion twice a month. I've noticed that my hair has become curlier however when I comb or gently pull from the root to the strand, the hair comes out almost like shedding except I don't see a white bulb. How can I treat this? I'd like to have my healthy natural 4a hair. Help!

honestly this sounds like a protein issue. Take two whole eggs mix it in some plain yogurt. leave that on your hair for at least an hour. follow up with a co wash and then a deep moisture treatment. I like to use shea moisture's deep treatment masque or curl enhancing smoothie as a deep moisture treatment and I mix in some coconut oil and honey.

Do this every other week until the shedding stops. then do protein treatments as needed.
