Hi I need help

Well I'm new here. I have what I believe is type 4a (although some strands look like 3c)

Now heres the thing. I'm going back to school next year while working nights. I get off at 11 and take showers at night (i work around food.) So how can I get next day hair without getting back in the shower? I'm investing in some silk or satin pillowcases to help.

Also I'm all natural. I don't use shampoo (only baking soda & vinegar when needed) and only natural conditioners. No chemicals (I came here because everyone told me to just get a relaxer...NO.) I also don't like braids. I don't like the feel of them or the fact I can't just wash them if I get something like cooking oil or raw chicken in them.

So yeah...help would be awesome. Thanks

Welcome! Using a satin pillow case is a good idea. You can also try using a sleeping cap that you can buy at Sally's Beauty Supply. They have a few different types-some where the curlers and pins are and some in the "ethnic" section. I like them because they keep my curls intact no matter how much I move around in my sleep.
