I don't know where you live but Walgreen's has a great selection of products now. Also try Target, Whole Foods, and Sally's.

A good protein treatment can be found right in your kitchen. Yogurt (the full fat kind is great). I mix it with regular conditioner or with oils and honey and it works well for my porous, color-treated hair. Also, don't overlook the power of an egg. If you need a serious punch of protein, mix an egg and some yogurt, some honey and oils, let it sit under a shower cap (I don't process the egg treatment with heat).
I add oils and honey and maybe some coconut milk to my regular conditioners and either sit under a. plastic cap for about an hour or. just process with heat for 20-30. minutes.
I also like Aubrey Organics GPB treatment for a protein fix, or their Honeysuckle Rose or White Camelia for moisture. I use them on dry hair under a cap for at least. 15 minutes, according to the instructions on the bottle.
