Hey guys!
It's my first summer/spring natural and I'm wondering with all of these yummy smelling, natural products, has anyone experienced being chased by bees? Are there any products/smells I should stay away from? This is just something I was thinking about while bored in class lol.

Oh, boy if that happened to me I would seriously freak out!. I hope the other curlies chime in because I don't have as good a sense of smell as I used to.

Never happened to me, and I used to do honey rinses as my last step in the shower. Then there's all the wonderful smelling CJ stuff and all the others and well... to answer your question, no I've never had issues with bugs because of what's in my hair :D
Wurly, fine, thin, moderately to heavily porous. Mod CG.

I have yet to experience this and hope I will never be chased by a bee. I have had a bee be attracted to the color of my shirt perhaps than my hair scent. I think a bee wants to fly around you it may be just bored. haha I love sweet smells myself, and like to smell pretty. Scents depend on what brand they are from will not last as long enough for a bee to want to land on the hair IMO. I remember when I used to use both S/C by Suave Coconut, the scent will be in my hair for a very long time including the old Herbal Essence Rosehip. Never had a bee want to bite me for it. :)

HAHAHA! that's funny. But don't worry bees are more attracted to the CO2 you expire when you breath.

This is kinda of funny because when I was about 12 I used Sun-In for the first and only time. When I went outside to lay in the sun, I could have sworn that bees were attracted to me. Looking back, I was probably being paranoid. Hahaha.

I've never had a problem with bees, but when I used an apple-scented conditioner as my leave-in, one of my horses would plaster his muzzle to my hair and root around. Was always afraid he'd take a big chomp!

My SO & I do a lot of outdoorsey stuff like hiking. I've found that the little annoying bugs like the perfume & hair products. The only time I've been attacked by a bee wasn't because of my product - although my hair is what it made a bee-line for - and it got tangled & reallllllyyy freaked me out! :laughing6: I didn't get stung though - SO did trying to rescue me! :tongue3:

Let me be the first to say it's happening to me and I don't know what to do. I just did a Google search to see if I'm alone. For the last week they've been gravitating towards my head. I have dogs so I have to walk them outside and have a huge, HUGE bee phobia. I notice that they've just been hovering. I hate it! I run and look crazy. If anyone out there has any advice I'm all ears! Eeeek.

It's happened to me a few times. I remember I'd just used some of the Bee Mine products (I forget which ones), and as I was walking to class, there was this one persistent bee...

But even later, depending on which products I use, it seems as if bees gravitate towards me. *shrugs*
