I think I'm ready to get my hair cut...

and I'm going to find a local person who has never cut my hair do it.
I'm a 3a/b and when wet, my hair is 3-4" below bs. when dry, it's considerably shorter than that.
My daughter and I have decided to donate our hair to Home
which only requires 8" (which I have but that will allow enough to spring up and not be too short).
So now the search for a salon - I'm nervous but I'm ready. I've done the salon finder thing and am comparing prices now. I hate having to spend this on myself but I will - I think it's for a good cause and will do it. (do you hear me convincing myself??) :eek
