I cant seem to find a way to use it with out getting frizzz! Ive tryed it w/ FSG, CQ, BRHG, and biotera gel. I have even smoothed it on hair for a 2nd day fix and still get frizz. Not sure what ing. would be causing this. So I thought id ask How do you use it?

Ha! I just used it. After reading about how Morgan uses the Tweek, I decided to try the same routine with the heavenly smelling CCCCLite.

Immediately upon "scrunching out" the gel crunch, I put a little of the CCCCLite in my hands and rub them together like putting on lotion, then scrunch this into my hair and rub at the roots of the hair.

This keeps it from getting as frizzy in the day, supports the style, and gives the hair a little moisture and also makes me happy 'cause it smells good.

I had trouble using CCCC lite initially. On another thread, DEL2C mentioned mixing CCCC lite with CJ Curl Fix. She had read about this from someone else (:) at DEL). This mixture works fantastic with no frizz to be found! I've since mixed CCCC lite with CJ Smoothing Lotion which also works fantastically...no frizz, soft, defined bouncy spirals. I was ready to give up on CCCC lite until using these combos. HTH :)

I LOVE using it with Ecostyler (have only tried the Olive oil and krystal kinds). Perfect hair almost every time with that combo! I had to quit it because I noticed in November my hair was getting really dried out from the ecostyler - I think it was the super high glycerin.

I've also tried it with CQ and got way too much definition - looked wet. I tried with with CIAB and my hair was lank, frizzy, and looked too producty. I've used it with SS FHG and that worked out really well. It also played nicely with LOOB and Loreal's melting gel.

I rarely ever have a problem with frizz:

o About a quarter-sized amount CJCCCC lite on very wet hair (usually not preceded by anything else. Occasionally by a pea-sized amount of SS protein treatment)

    o Comb thru

o Re-wet a la SuperSoaker method but using a spray bottle

o Scrunch and blot with a CurlEase or flour sack

o Diffuse upside down about five minutes

o Proceed with the Smasters method but using FHG: Dip three fingers almost to first joint in SS FHG, rub palms together a little and scrunch thru hair upside down

o Diffuse upside down a couple more minutes

    o Clip top

    o Air dry

Occasionally I use EcoStyler or KCCCC instead of FHG, but following the same method combo

I don't like CJCCCC lite on dry hair, but then I don't like most products on dry hair except sometimes scrunching AVG in my pineapple to tighten curls back up overnight.

CCCClite is a staple for me (except in really low dews). I apply it to pretty wet hair (curl eaze towel for only a minute or so) or I get some frizz, then HESMU ontop. I don't think I've ever had a bad hair day with this combo. I even used this combo when I went to Greece in October. I had awesome hair & their water & climate is brutal at times.

I've tried it in different ways but the only use I have for it right now is to SOTC. But the dews here are still low so maybe that's the reason? I've only had it for about a month.

Thanks missbanjo. I have CCCC but the jar does not say lite. I looked on curlmart but they only have CCCC. I'm I missing something?

I used it today over KCKT. Can't wait to see if it helps my halo frizz.

Nah it's just a lighter version of CCCC for those of us that get weighted down easily. CCCC was just too heavy for me so I tried it. It's in a bottle rather than a jar.

Thanks everyone Im thinking that I need to wait till the dews are higher I didnt even think that could be the reason. (still not sure if that is)!!! dews here hav been running in the 30 and 40 so maybe i should wait till they are a little higher??????????

I have soooo not figured the dew thing out yet. Just when I think ive got a handle on this hair thing the weather has to go and change things up :banghead:

I don't really get dews either. It's 32 right now here, what on earth does that mean anyway? I thought I'd wait until June to try out CCCClite again ooh or maybe take it with me to Omaha hmmmm.

I've been using the regular CCCC for a while and love it. So I thought I'd try out the CCCC lite..... I cannot get it to work right! I've used it just like the regular one and it dries my hair out. My hair just does not look good. No defined curls, just fluff. I've used it the same way as I did the regular one. I guess it will have to go on the swap board. I was hoping it would work too.

I found out very quickly that I cannot use CCCC or CCCC lite with low dewpoints. I tried it a few times this winter and was ready to sell it but I'm so glad I saved it for summer use. Now that the dewpoints are up (not that I have any clue what that means!) it works pretty well for me. Same with KCCC. Though it's really hard to find the right amounts. Too much and I get white flakies on my hair, too little and it's fluffy and I loose my curl definition.

I like them both with CIAB over the top. I'd like to try them both with FSG over instead but I haven't made any in a while.
