coloring hair darker

would make your hair darker damage it or change its texture? i'm a swimmer, would it affect my hair in any bad way?

    I don't think it'll damage it much, it's not like you are stripping color from your hair. Depending on the dye you use it may dry your hair out.

    As for swimming, the chlorine may make your hair brassy and the color fade quicker...
    3a/3b thick coarse WL dark brown hair. CG/Mod CG since: 5/4/05. Current products: Right now my hair is in such a tizzy over this winter weather we are hving that nothing really seems to be working. I need a haircut.

    It is very gentle, contains NO ammonia or peroxide, doesn't lift color (deposit only). Works great! Many curlies here use it if you try a search. HTH :)
