I have a 3 year old child who has curly hair. I have tried all types of products on her hair to try to "tame" it, or at least detangle it. Brushing it makes both of us want to cry. I just need some help please, with products, management of her hair.. everything.

Have you tried Bee Mine, Shea Moisture or Mixed Chicks? Brushing does hurt sometimes, have you tried the Tangle Teezer Hair brush? I swear, this item just glides through my daughters knots. Also it is good to detangle her hair when its wet, and has plenty of conditioner on it. This will help the comb/brush glide through her hair. Make sure to try to untangle the knots gently and with your fingers first before putting a comb in it. Also use a wide tooth comb to detangle not the fine combs, and start at the ends when combing and hold the hair firmly at the top/root when combing the ends so she doesnt feel any pulling or tugging on her hair. Then work your way up to the root of her hair. I hope all of this info helps ya :)

Have you tried Kinky Curly Knot Today? I use this and finger detangle because it is much gentler.
