I love it too!!:love5: I have to blast it in the microwave to make it soft enough to go through my ultra fine hair though.

Have you tried coconut oil? I use it every day and once my hair dries it's not greasy at all.

Here's what I do to "dilute" shea butter in the warmer months:
I mix equal parts of shea butter & AVG, with a splash of olive or jojoba oil. HTH

yeah, mix it w/ some oil and aloe gel. My hair doesn't like gel either but mixed w/ shea butter and coconut oil, it's great.

I use a 1/4 c of flax seed to 2 1/2 cups water. Let the water come to a boil and add the seeds, once it starts to froth I reduce the heat to low and stir until I like the consistency. Strain using a mesh colander or nylon stocking.

After that it's ready to use as is keep refrigerated. I like to add citric acid or grapefruit seed extract to keep it longer.
