Cowashing/Conditioner Problem...Maybe?

Curly SicilianCurly Sicilian Posts: 12Registered Users
I have been cowashing my hair for about a month and now I'm noticing that my scalp is breaking out and I don't know why. I haven't switched conditioners, but I have switched shampoo to a sulfate-free shampoo that I only use about twice a week. I am conditioning more than shampooing. I also have oily hair at the roots, but dry on the ends. Have any of you curlies had this happen to you? Also, any recommendations for conditioners would be helpful too.

Thanks!
Holly

If you are not already doing these; here are some tips.
    1. Use a thinner shampoo to Co wash, then a thick conditioner to actually condition the ends. (I use yes to carrots pampering condish to Co wash and natures gate to condish.)
    2. When you Co wash scrub the best you can especially the places that are prone to grease.
    3. Make sure you put little or no leave in on ur roots, if your roots are dry and need the LI then put a minimal amount on them.

If you get rid of the excess grease, hopefully the break outs will stop.
    HTH good luck!
