:)

So...since my latest mishaps I've decided to keep tabs on my product inventory by taking pics. I think this would be particularly helpful in cases of premature product spoilage and you need to contact the company or just product consistency. Sometimes I've watched youtube reviews or I've seen reviews on blogs and if they have close ups of the actual product, it may look differently than the one I have. That doesn't mean that it won't work as good, or that it will be worse, but it's just something to take notice of.

Or there are times when I want to try a product but I want to know what it looks like and all that jazz. I don't understand why some companies don't post pics of the actual product on their websites.

Anyway, enough with the rambling! I'm not so sure what will come from this thread but I hope it's helpful to someone else. If you have a question about a product, feel free to post it here. I may have it and I'll show what I can about it (aside from doing videos...lol) I just love hair products.

Here's the first product: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab

I attached some photos below. I love the Curl Rehab and I consider it a staple, but here are my observations of this product. First, obviously the packaging is different. I have two jars and the older one isn't as vibrant as the new jar. I kind of like the new packaging better. I checked the labels and all of the ingredients are the same, word for word. So no need to worry if you have a different looking jar!

Secondly, the texture is creamy and it has a very wet texture to it. Maybe that's why I find it so moisturizing. But there's a hint of lumpiness in this conditioner. I can't put my finger on it, it's not granules or anything, it just feels kind of lumpy. Not a big deal...at least I don't think so. The newer conditioner looks darker than the older conditioner though. I wonder what that's about. They feel the same, but they do look a little different:goofy:

Lastly, for now, I'll comment on the scent. Both jars are in the Strawberry Ice Cream Scent. Initially I wasn't too crazy about the scent, and I'm still not. To me, it didn't smell like strawberry ice cream. It smelled like strawberry... medicine. Actually kind of rancid. It's not horrid, and it's not a deal breaker, but the smell didn't leave me impressed. Well, that was the first jar (which I've had since maybe December). This new jar (purchased in April), it definitely smells like strawberry ice cream.

and I'm done now.lol

Ooh, and I also noticed with this conditioner is that no matter how much scraping I do, the product always settles at the bottom all neat. I think that's pretty cool. :laughing9:

SMH I have too much time on my hands. Well, I actually don't but...don't judge me!

Here's what this one looks like. I haven't seen many reviews on this. This will definitely be used for twisting. I placed a dab on my hand and I really had to work it in for my skin to absorb it. I think my hair and skin absorb stuff at a similar pace.

This kind of reminds me of a cross between the Oyin Whipped Pudding and the Qhemet CTDG. It's kind of pasty but it's thick, smooth and creamy as well.

The scent: I was expecting something coconut-y and coffee-y, but I'm not feeling the scent. It kind of smells like glue to me :? Just a hint.

Yea. I like to see a product's consistency because it gives me an idea on how to use it

Bee Mine "Bee Hold Curly Butter" Coconut Cream Scent

    7ea066df-99ea-84bc.jpg

About 3/4 way through. My apologies, but since I won't be repurchasing just wanted to get it up on here.

    7ea066df-9a28-0aaa.jpg

Texture: Wet, creamy, non-sticky (similar to what CocoT said about "Curl Rehab)."

Smell: Nothing like coconut!!! Horrid! I think it's a cross of furniture cleaner, medicine, and something else I can't put my finger on :yuck:

After buying this a few times, I've found the scent to be inconsistent. Sometimes it does smell okay and sometimes its off and gives me migraines.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking!

Can we make requests and if someone has the product they can post pics and review it?

I know we have threads, blogs and youtube but haing it all in one spot helps.

Yeah I was waiting on requests. Being a PJ is very helpful in this particular thread. ;)

I worried that maybe y'all would think a thread like this could get a little messy with a whole bunch of different products and stuff but...:hiding: I don't mind messy sometimes.lol. At least when people search for product reviews they'll see what's here too. There's product reviews scattered all throughout many threads. The more the merrier! I love product reviews.

Ok so heres how my souffle looks, please excuse the tiny hair, didnt see it until after.

IT looks heavy but its not, very creamy to the touch and disappears after smoothing in, my jar is and has been sitting in my closet since I got it in.

    Yep...that's how mine looks.

The scent I have is Island Getaway, it smells really good but seems to fade away and hasnt lingered. The texture is very creamy and wet.
    Hey I can't see the pictures :(

Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I almost forgot about it! (maybe it was the lack of enthusiasm :sad11:..lol) I can't wait to take out my weave so I can start using these products. I have a ton of stuff to review and use

Aw baby...I like this thread but TBH I'm too lazy to take pics of all of my products unless there is something wrong with them...lol. Every time I try to post a pic on the app from my phone it messes up. Lemme try again...

Lol I was just kidding. But I know it takes a lot of effort. When I was taking pics I got distracted and started sniffing everything and I started taking out some of my extensions to use some of the products.lol Then I had to put them back in :disgust:

The bottle is after 1 use.

ETA: Condish is nice and slippy, detangled easily with it. It did remind me of KCKT as far a consistancy, I got the sweet tropics smell. My hair is very soft and moisturized.

I posted pictures of my hair using Enso Naturals Marshmallow Root Twisting Pudding and Sweet Honey Hibiscus Leave In Conditioner in this thread and was asked to share the consistency here. I'm also including my "review" here as well:

Enso Naturals Sweet Honey Hibiscus Leave in Condistioner
So first impression this stuff has a sweet smell and it's pretty creamy so it's perfect for those 4's like me. This will replace my beloved honey hemp condish because it'sis cheaper and I only need a little. I used the leave in after washing my hair with giovanni triple treat and my comb glided through my thick kinky hair like butter. I was like OK!!! I can tell it is gonna help cut the time I spend detangling in half so that's a plus. I also like how even the next day my hair was hella shiny and soft....even now as I type this my "kitchen" feels smooth and silky...

    Enso Naturals Marshmallow Twisting Pudding
It has some type of fruity scent and the consistency reminds me of Miss Jessies CP. I honestly didn't have much hope for it because MJCP did nothing for my hair. Let me tell yall!!!!!!!!!!! This right here is a keeper....first day my hair looked like I had a rod set there was so much definition...the cherry on top is that I had no flaking or crunch. My hair has definition for days and is soft. I'm not sure if it was because of the combo of the leave-in under the pudding...or what. But it is a definite repurchase.
