Hi Curlies,
sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany.

Here in Germany it's very hard to find special curl-produkts without cones, sulfates, alcohol ... and much harder to find some on a natural base.

At the moment, my mother in on holiday in Arizona, (Sun City West) so she can buy something.

Now I need your help:

I dont know, if there are special shops where she can buy special things for hair. So please can you tell me which products she can buy at Walmart. Please give me the exact name.

I need Conditioner, Leave-in, gel on natural base without alc. Maybe there is something special for curly hair I not even know.

I hope, you understand what I want.
If not, please ask.
If you need more information about my hair, please ask.

I will try to explain in my bad english.

Thank you very much!

Gabi

    Walmart carries the Giovanni organic line of products that are all natural. Usually around 7.99 or 8.99 per product. Any of there low poos and conditioners would be fine. Popular ones here on the boards seem to be the Tea tree shampoo, 50/50 shampoo & cond., Root 66 shamp. & cond. and the smooth as silk cond. ( the smooth as silk shampoo does have a cone in it ), the L.A. natural style gel and the mousse are used after using the Giovanni Direct leave in conditioner too.

    Also a good conditioner popular here but isn't completely natural ( although not terrible ) and is CG is the Garnier Triple Nutrition Conditioner and it's very inexpensive. Hope this helps you!:profileleft:

    By the way I'm in Arizona too, and I forgot to mention Walmart also carries Burt's Bees natural shampoo's and conditioners that some people here on the boards use as well, I haven't tried them though.

    Like Fairewood said...you will have a much bigger selection at Whole Foods out here since they carry the KCCC and Jane Carter lines as well as the Giovanni and Burts's Bees I mentioned, HTH!

    Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, Ihr Englisch ist ganz gut!
    Viele Leute mögen Yes to Carrots shampoo and conditioner, Curls Up serum ist auch ganz gut.

    Check out this post http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/swap-board-eurocurlies/118732-german-curlies.html

    There are quite a few salons and shops that sell Curly Girl products in Germany. I actually got my last (mind you disastrous) haircut in Berlin. Where exactly do you live?
    I read a lot about this salon as well, located in Kaiserslautern
    The HoneyComb.

    Bottom line is: make the most of your mom's trip but you can always find alternatives in Germany or elsewhere. Mariposa is based in the Netherlands. It's good but i find it too expensive (1$=1.50€ PLUS shipping, seriously?! Thanks but no thanks).

    Also British Curlies is a great website. They have fantastic customer service and are extremely fast at delivering products. My orders always get here in 3 days max (they are based in London, i'm in France). There is a 50% off international shipping offer until the end of April (for 10 products sent to France 7£ only).

    Good luck ;)

    @Beebop, ajna, agirlcanmack:
    Thank you for your answers!

    I informed my mother about the listed products, let's see, what she'll bring back.

    @ajna: your German is great!

    @agirlcanmack
    Thank you for the linked post, I'll read.....
    I live in Bavaria, far, far away from Berlin ;-)

    I've heard about "British Curlies", and if my mom could't find something, I'll order at "British Curlies".
    At the moment, I try to save shipping-costs.

    Greetings
    Gabi
