It's been awhile

I haven't been on here in a really long time! But, I'm back with the same question. What products to use! I have slight psoriasis on my scalp (little flakes, itchy scalp). I've been using biolage for the last 6 months or so. What products as a 2, would you recommend? I've been told a deep-conditioning treatment once a week might help. Moisture is key, but it weighs my hair down if I use too much conditioner (or conditioning shampoo). The Tigi Moisture Maniac seemed to work best both with moisture/curl and the no-itching/psoriasis, but seemed to make my hair break more than usual. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. I also use Biolage curl defining gel, lightly, after washing my hair.

Welcome back. I know nothing about the subject, but this thread links to lots of threads on scalp conditions. Maybe it can help.

I don't have psoriasis, but I do have scalp sensitivity. A lot of products are too drying for me and cause bumps.

What has been working best for me is to co-wash with Suave Naturals Pomegranate Conditioner, then condition with Tresemme Naturals Silicone Free Conditioner (Nourishing Moisture). In the past I have used Suave Naturals Coconut as my co-wash, but it leaves my roots looking greasy. When I feel my hair needs it I use Burts Bees shampoo and coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner.

All I can use at the moment is Flax Seed Gel for styling, but it does pretty well considering how thick my hair is.

I hope you find what works for your hair and scalp.
