Thawed FSG

Is it normal for FSG to separate after being thawed? I had only added honey and then froze it. It may have still been warm when I popped it in the freezer. When I thawed it, I got a big glob of gel substance suspended in watery liquid. I strained out the water and got nice, thick gel that seems to be working well. I'm guessing the extra water is condensation from it being warm when I stuck it in the freezer... :dontknow:
