Felt Tip Liner

jersey8jersey8 Posts: 195Registered Users
I need some new eyeliner recs.
I really love felt tips. Liquid liners are hard for me to control, but pencils rarely show up unless I press down extremely hard and then it still "skips" and doesn't form a solid line.

I currently use (I'll edit this after I find it), and I LOVE it except it doesn't stay on. I need waterproof/smudge proof liner that comes in black or amazingly dark purple. Any suggestions?
I looked at Lancome, but geez almighty at the price.
I don't see any felt tips at MAC, but if it's not MAC, I'd prefer something I could find at the grocery or WalMart.

does it have to be felt tip liner?

what about MAC's PowerPoint Eye Pencil or Technakohl Liner?

those are pencil form but they go on easier than standard eye pencils, and the PowerPoint is long-lasting.

I have a Powerpoint, and I like it, but...it doesn't seem to last. I put it on and...a few hours later, you can't see it at all. It's barely visable anyway. I already have really dark lashes (to the point that it almost looks like I have eyeliner on the top naturally), but they are spaced out so I need something to "connect" the line. Plus, I like it to be dark and thick because it makes my hazel eyes look green. I also enjoy it being dark when I go out to shows, and it seems I only get compliments and "do that more" when I use my felt tip liner.

What's the technakohl like? Is it waterproof/smudgeproof? It was hard to tell what it was like from the pic on the site. I love MAC shadows, so I'm open to other MAC stuff.

most of the really good waterproof ones are going to be pricey - like the Lancome one ($22 - wow!).

what about using a sealer like She-laq from Benefit or Pixi Eye Color Sealer?

also put powder in a matching colour OVER your pencil line - it does help it last longer.

i use Bonne Bell pencils and put powder over them. i have very oily lids and find it lasts almost all day.
